In addition to her private practice, Laurie supervises the clinical intern program at Hospice by the Bay, a non-profit providing hospice and bereavement services to thousands of Bay Area families. She is responsible for recruitment, training, and clinical oversight of a cohort of Masters-level clinicians, who provide grief and crisis support in Marin, San Francisco and Sonoma counties. Laurie has been licensed in California as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC 47109) since 2009. She received her MS in Psychology from Dominican University, her BA in Psychology from University of Colorado, Boulder. Laurie is fluent in Spanish, and has lived and travelled extensively in Latin America and Asia.
